Weddings at Narborough Hall

Narborough Hall Gardens are a magical place to hold your wedding or to renew your vows. Everywhere you look, you will find romantic vistas, the lake, the boathouse, the river, beautiful wild flower meadows and even a bridal garden.

We have now applied to hold marriage ceremonies in Narborough Hall’s historic drawing room. Decorated in soft creams and old gold, with a rare rococo ceiling, this beautiful 18th century room will provide you with a perfectly elegant setting to exchange your vows. This room seats 50 people, however if you need space for a larger party our dancing room is an option, situated on the west side of the house it is flooded with afternoon sunshine and can seat 70 people.

Wedding receptions can be held in a marque on the front lawn, by the lake, or, if your party is for 70 or less in our beamed barn in the old stable block close to the hall.

If you or any of your party would like to stay with us for the wedding week/weekend we have self-catering accommodation available. We also have a lovely bridal suite with dressing room.
If you have any special requirements or creative ideas for your occasion feel free to talk to us. We love the eccentric and unusual.

Naming ceremonies

Narborough Hall provides your family with a lovely space to hold a naming ceremony. The event can take place inside the Hall or outside in the garden.

If you would like a classic English afternoon tea afterwards we can seat 40 in our perfect spot café. We can make you a special cake to celebrate the day and serve baby tea in tiny teacups and fairy cakes to your smaller guests. We are happy to help with decorating, flowers and can even organise nature-based workshops for children in your party.
