This taster class offers an introduction to the simple intaglio
process of drypoint. It is a basic printing technique which involves
scratching onto a surface using a sharp point to produce a soft
velvety quality to your printed image.
You may want to use the paper
you made in our papermaking workshop or alternatively we will provide
you with paper on which you can produce your own unique prints. All
other materials will be provided.
We have combined printmaking with
the textiles workshop to give you the opportunity of joining together
the techniques explored in both workshops.
