THE HOUSE & GARDENS
The Dancing Room
20ft x 30ft with a wooden floor, two south facing and two west facing windows to give the room a soft natural light. Decorated simply in lime white, we have a variety of props, mirrors and vintage furniture to dress this room.
The Phoenix Room
This decorative drawing room is furnished with oriental and floral vintage textiles.
The room was first decorated as a Chinese room in the 18th century and the ceiling provides a rare example of historic plasterwork from this period.
The Spelman Room
This bedroom has a triple bay window and gives lovely natural light for portraits. The room has a block of 16th century linen fold panelling above the fireplace and wood panelling painted in soft green with decorative antique bed in the centre. The adjoining dressing room with antique dressing table, and bathroom with large mirrors makes it perfect for boudoir shoots.
This elegant dressing room with make up bar and three dressing tables has a walk in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. Narborough Hall has a team of experienced make-up artists and hairdressers.
Narborough Hall has one of the most Romantic Gardens in England. The borders are colour themed in shades of plum and chocolate, slate blue, violet and lavender, white, green and primrose, and pastels. The Walled Kitchen garden has an old greenhouse and the Barn and stables have lovely textured walls in tones of stone and grey. The lake is misty and mysterious early morning and evening and we have a rowing boat, boat house and oak jetty. The Woodland is ancient Beech and Box, beautiful in all seasons and has very gothic mossy banks with cascading tree roots. We have beautiful trees and parkland, a stream and a river which looks as if it belongs in a Pre-Raphaelite painting. We are happy to help accessorise your shoot with outdoor vintage furniture, flowers and urns. We have a lovely collection of beautiful objects collected over the last 20 years.
